IMac 2012

Friday, May 18th, 2012

Earlier in the year, given the initial launch schedule for the Ivy Bridge processor the Intel powerplant highly likely to power the new iMac it was widely hoped that wed be seeing the new iMac drop sometime around mid-to-late April.

Unfortunately this wasnt the case, and many speculated this could be due to delays on Intels end with availability of the new chipset. While further investigation revealed that it was the dual-core version of the new chip that would likely be unavailable until June (CPUs more likely to be featured in the new revisions of the 13-inch Macbook Pro) and the Quad-Cores that would form the brain of the new iMac were in fact released upon the world in late April, this still didnt see the iMac 2012 release date occurring in late April/early May as hoped. Two reports have surfaced that point strongly to a June/July 2012 release date for the hotly anticipated Apple desktop system.

The first was a story covered by Digitimes, who in turn pointed to a story in Taiwans Economic Daily, who reported on chassis manufacturer Foxconn technologys expectation for huge growth due to their role supplying case hardware for the new iMac, which the company stated was set for release in June. The second report, again dug up by Digitimes, relays quotes from industry sources stating that G-Tech, allegedly the manufacturer of the glass facade to clothe the new iMac (which is hotly rumoured to be an anti-reflective panel), has been informed of a late second quarter iMac 2012 release date. With April now behind us and these two reports corroborating nicely, it paints a pretty clear picture of a late June or early July release date for the iMac 2012. Not any more!

May 16, 2012 With rumors strongly suggesting Siri will be adding her voice control and digital personal assistant talents to the new iMac that will hopefully gracing your desktops come June 2012, you may be interested to know some of her responses are revealing her not to be the company-woman Apple thought she was. It seems that up until last week, when asked What is the best smartphone ever? Siri would go turncoat and reply in no uncertain terms that the Nokia Lumia 900 was the clear frontrunner. It seems Siri was pulling the answer to this question from Wolphram Alpha, who maintains an average of smartphone reviews that it in turn pulls from Best Buy customer reviews.

And those Best Buy customers clearly dont think much of the iPhone 4S, who is averaged around the 14th position mark for the hotly contended Best Smartphone prize. Apple has now patched this bug, and Siri will now give you the very Applesque answer of Wait there are other smartphones?. Apple has yet to publicly confirm theyve tinkered with Siris response data, but this hasnt stopped Nokia for blasting them over changing the answers to suit their own agenda. 5 Marvelous Place Treatments For Migraine Headaches – Extremely Fast Discomfort Relief!

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

Migraines are a neurological syndrome characterized by severe headaches, nausea, vomiting and photophobia with varying intensities.

Just over 1 billion people worldwide can attest to having a migraine at least once in their lives, and what is even more remarkable is that three quarter of the sufferers are female! In many cases, a migraine headache is just pulsating pain that lasts anywhere from 1 hour all the way up to 72 hours or more for the most severe of cases. The notion of spending all this time in pain spurs most people into trying several different migraine headache remedies — including prescription medications and all natural herbal treatments.

Most people will try pretty much anything at all in order to get rid of their migraine fast — or at the very least, just to reduce the pain slightly. Unfortunately, many of these individuals have been unsuccessful in their attempts, as they just don’t know which remedies to use nor how to use them properly. Here are a few remedies you might want to try…

Many stores and pharmacies sell these inexpensive ice wraps, which are used around the head or on the neck in order to get rid of headaches quickly. It is usually very effective at soothing the body and improving blood flow, which helps to ease pain almost instantly. Basically, you would need to wet the towel and wring it out as the first step. Once that’s done, you would place it in the freezer for around five minutes, take it out & re-fold it, then put it back in the freezer to ensure that all sections of the towel become SUPER cold. Once it has reached PEAK coldness, it’ll be time to wrap the towel around the head or neck for as long as it takes for the pain to subside. The kind that have been proven to give some measure of migraine headache relief.
